The Portland Mushroom Company is an urban mushroom farm located in the scenic St. Johns area of Portland, Oregon. Founded in 2012 by three Lewis & Clark College biology majors, today the PMC continues to produce world-class oyster mushrooms for local restaurants. We proudly feed our mushrooms oat straw grown in Sherwood (just outside of Portland) by Kaicher Farms, making them "local" on both levels! And since we operate out of specially modified shipping containers right on the east bank of the Willamette River, we're able to produce these pristine mushrooms year-round!
